Curled up in dreamland, Quinn is woken from her sleep by a most unusual noise coming from the darkness outside.
Scritch scritch scratchie
Scuttle scuttle bump!
Tap tap rustle,
Catoom catoom THUMP!
Surely it must be a monster!
The Night Noise playfully follows Quinn and her Daddy as they explore where the mysterious noise might be coming from, and get the sweetest surprise when they discover it's not as scary as they first imagined.
Designed to soothe and reframe children's concerns about things that go bump in the night, the story showcases a tender relationship between father and daughter and celebrates the bravery of facing up to your fears.
Richly illustrated by Juan Carlos Rodriguez, the book pays tribute to the quirkiness of childhood in Australia and introduces one of its more unique and loveable inhabitants, who needs Quinn's help to get himself out of a tricky situation.
Sure to become a family favourite, The Night Noise will open the door to speaking to your child about fears, courage, family and the importance of lending a helping hand.

About the Author
Growing up surrounded by books, it’s been Linda's childhood dream to be a published author since she was a little girl. Her wish wasn’t to own ponies, or marry a prince and live in a castle – but to hold a book with her name on the cover.
Linda is a primary school teacher. She loves working with children and being inspired by their creativity and humour. It seemed only natural to write a book dedicated to kids.
Linda likes to write books exploring child-centred topics involving kindness and friendship issues for the younger generation. They encourage lively discussion between parents and their children, and teachers with their class. She loves being a storyteller, teacher and working with children.
